it's about time

Not sure when this problem arose — perhaps with the Mac OS X Tiger upgrade? — but I've had an issue with time formatting on my Mac. Specifically, the date options in System Preferences > International > Formats would stubbornly only allow MMMM-YY-DD for a single format (either short, medium, long, full) and not all of them, which is my preference.

This wouldn't be so much of an issue, but applications choose one of the four, and for the most part there's no rhyme or reason to whichever is chosen. At least, that's how this non-programmer sees it. Regardless, I'm happy to report that the 10.4.3 update has addressed this issue. I can finally get my ISO 8601 on; thanks Apple!
